Educational and technological center for preparation for servicing farmers (TTC)

The training and technology center for preparation for servicing farmers was organized on the basis of the Order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation No. 59 dated January 24, 1992 as part of the Chelyabinsk Order of the Red Banner of Labor "State Agroengineering University".

The purpose and objectives of the UTC were:

- training, retraining and advanced training of farmers, gardeners, owners of personal subsidiary plots, service, advice on all matters of farming;

- application software development:

- preparation and creation of educational and methodological literature for farmers;

- service maintenance of farms;

- holding agricultural exhibitions.

For 18 years of work of the Training Center, more than 200 seminars have been held, incl. with the participation of American scientists from ASDI, specialists from two TASIS projects.

More than 1000 people underwent training and received certificates for the right to organize their own economy at the courses held by the UTC jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Chelyabinsk Region and the Agroengineering University, more than 400 students under the Farmer program.

More than 500 heads of farms have passed the training courses. For the convenience of farmers, field classes are organized in the districts of the region. The main directions of the courses: agronomy, vegetable growing, cooperation, accounting, meat and dairy farming, beekeeping, cheese making, etc.

Farmers from Germany, France, scientists from the USA, students of ChSAU had practical training in the farms of Germany, USA, Australia to exchange experience.

Every year for 20 years, the UTC was the organizer of the largest exhibition-fair in the Urals "Agro".

In 1998, on the basis of the Training and Technology Center for Training for Servicing Farmers (TTS), a union of peasant (farmer) households and agricultural cooperatives was organized.

The union includes 340 commodity-producing farmers with AKKOR membership cards

The functions of the Union are representing the interests of farmers through AKKOR in federal structures, information and consulting services, assistance in obtaining loans and leasing operations, representing the interests of farmers in the government and the Legislative Assembly of the region, training farmers, preparing business plans and promoting for participation in programs: Beginner Farmer "," Family Livestock Farm "," Agricultural Consumer Cooperative ", assistance in resolving land issues, trade and intermediary activities, cooperation, defense in courts, etc.

The most important task of the system of farmer self-government is the socialization of its participants, maintaining communication, sharing experience, disseminating information, holding conferences, round tables, field days, farmer's day, organizing work in the media.
