Defense of the doctoral dissertation by Valentina Mikhailovna Shpygova on the topic "Postnatal morphogenesis of the bloodstream of the stomach of cattle"

On December 20, 2019, on the basis of the FSBEI HE "Stavropol State Agrarian University" in the dissertation council D 220.062.02, the defense of the doctoral dissertation of Shpygova Valentina Mikhailovna, associate professor of the department of parasitology and veterinary examination, anatomy and pathological anatomy named after V.I. Professor SN Nikolsky, on the topic "Postnatal morphogenesis of the bloodstream of the stomach of cattle." On the basis of the decision of the Academic Council and the recommendations of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, on October 14, 2020, she was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Biological Sciences in the specialty 06.02.01 - diagnosis of diseases and therapy of animals, pathology, oncology and morphology of animals.

For the first time, new data on the macro- and micromorphology of the bloodstream of a multichamber stomach in black-and-white cattle in postnatal ontogenesis are presented. Scientific prerequisites are given to substantiate a deeper understanding of the absorption process in a multichamber stomach. For the first time, it was established that the structural and functional unit of the mucous membrane of the proventriculus is the zonal microvascular-epithelial complexes - epithelioangions. The organ-specific regularities of the structural and functional organization of the hemomicrocirculatory bed of the serous, muscular and mucous membranes of the stomach chambers, as well as the peculiarities of its age-related restructuring, were revealed. Critical periods in the postnatal development of epithelial structures and the bloodstream of the stomach of cattle have been established. It was established for the first time that the greatest proliferative activity of the cells of the basal layer of the epithelium is observed in calves up to three days of age in all studied stomach chambers. The character of regenerative proliferation (by expression of Ki-67) of epithelial cells of the gastric mucosa was determined. It has been proved that the growth and stabilization of the structural components of the mucous membrane and the bloodstream of the stomach have a long period. For the first time, the localization of cells of mesenchymal (a-SMA) origin was determined and their cytoarchitectonics in the wall of extraorgan vessels and epithelial-connective tissue formations of the gastric mucosa in cattle in postnatal ontogenesis was assessed.

V. M. Shpygova based on the research materials published 50 works, including one monograph, two patents and developed recommendations for a comprehensive study and assessment of the state of the mucous membrane of the stomach of cattle, approved at a meeting of the section of animal science and veterinary medicine of the Department of Agricultural Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the direction of pharmacology and therapy.
