The course "History and Philosophy of Science in the Conditions of Implementation of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education" has a theoretical and practical orientation in considering the actual problems of mastering the philosophy of science, its interaction with other areas of human activity.

The course reveals the connection between cultural, philosophical traditions and the development of science in different eras, allows you to get acquainted with the pluralism of ideas and theories, to form a world outlook in the field of history and philosophy of science

Upon completion of the course, the student receives fundamental knowledge in the history and philosophy of science: the subject, status and content of the philosophy of science; genesis of science and features of its historical development; scientific traditions and scientific revolutions, types of scientific rationality, etc.

The course orients the student towards obtaining competencies, knowledge, skills and abilities in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard and their successful application in teaching and research activities.
